Congratulations on your upcoming Nikah (also spelled "Nikkah")! Your decision to marry is a spiritual covenant that is rooted in a commitment for one another. A wedding is a joyous event, and we are honored that you are considering us to share the occasion!

If you would like to have your Nikah performed at the Khair Community Center or request to officiate your nikah ceremony, you must complete the following steps:

Step 1: Fill out the facility reservation form by clicking here: Facilities Request to request holding the Nikah at the Khair Center. Our admin team will reach out to you to inform you of the availability of the facility.

Step 2: Schedule your premarital counseling: the Imam will be in contact with you regarding premarital counseling. The couple is required to attend a premarital course/counseling conducted by Khair that can be done virtually.  Couples may also choose to select their own equivalent program and provide completion documentation.Premarital counseling is designed for the couple to gain greater insight into a harmonious marriage that is guided by Islamic teachings and principles.  We pray that this process prepares both of you for the journey ahead.

Step 3: Obtain Marriage License from your Local County Courthouse. Please remember our nikahs are also legal marriages, therefore we must enforce this procedure. You must obtain a marriage license at the County Clerk’s Office.

Step 4: Attend the Marriage Aqd (Contract) Signing.  Bring the Local County Marriage License with you. The bride, groom, wali, and two witnesses must be present and bring a valid form of government identification with them (e.g. valid driver's license, passport, or ID).. We pray that this joyous occasion goes smoothly. On the day of the Nikah, kindly follow the Facility usage General Guidelines and additional guidelines provided.
